And so here I am (still) in the Sultanate of Oman surrounded by vast expanses of nothingness..... loads of sand and two trees in the distance. In the wilderness of Oman there are no lights and decorations to remind us that Xmas is just around the corner till I saw one legendary figure that always makes an appearance around Christmas - Santa Claus - helping to rig up lines for the cement job....
